Who we are
ReviewPulse is operated by Relinquish ("we," "us," "our"), accessible at relinquish.app. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
What we collect
- Account information: Email address, name (optional), and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Business information: Business name, industry, and brand voice description that you provide during onboarding.
- Review data: Customer review text, reviewer names, star ratings, and platform information that you submit for AI response generation.
- Usage data: We track which features you use and how many reviews you generate, for the purpose of enforcing plan limits and improving the service.
How we use your data
- To provide the service: Your business details and review data are used to generate AI-powered review responses tailored to your brand voice.
- AI processing: Review text and business context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy. Per Anthropic's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models.
- To improve the service: We may analyze aggregate, anonymized usage patterns to improve ReviewPulse.
- To communicate with you: We may send transactional emails related to your account (e.g., password resets). We will not send marketing emails without your consent.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely in the United States. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. Authentication tokens and API keys are stored as encrypted secrets.
Third-party services
- Anthropic (Claude API): Processes review text to generate responses.
- Infrastructure: Our application is hosted on globally distributed cloud infrastructure in the United States.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.

Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including your personal information, business profiles, reviews, and AI-generated responses — is permanently deleted from our systems. We do not retain copies of deleted account data.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
Children
ReviewPulse is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes through the Service or via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
